Horses aren't my whole life,

but they
make my life whole.

Alison Grosse is Spring Creek Equestrian Center's owner and trainer. She was smitten with horses at an early age. She began riding when just two years old, and by the time she was four, she was participating in local horse shows.

Quickly Alison became an accomplished rider and in her teens was ranked among the top ten in Western Pleasure at the US National Arabian Championship Horse Show. Since then, Alison has earned numerous local, regional, and national awards in horsemanship.

Alison has been In the equestrian business for over 25 years. She established Spring Creek Equestrian Center (SCEC) in 1995, and in 2012 she moved it to Pardee Road in Three Oaks, Michigan. The barn is now teeming with riders and horses (as well as several other animals!)

Alison excels as a trainer for riders and horses alike. She provides a comfortable atmosphere for every level of rider and loves working with the beginner - of any age - as much as the advanced competitor. Riders interested in casual and trail riding will find a fun and welcoming environment at Spring Creek as well.

Horses can have a therapeutic effect on children and they offer a healthy alternative to other activities. However, many children don't have the resources to experience the joy of horses. For this reason, Alison established the Spring Creek Horses Help Foundation, which provides scholarships for local, underserved children to attend an equine-based educational program on horse behavior, barn and horse care, and horsemanship.

Alison is recognized for her experience and success on the horse show circuit throughout the US and Canada. Her s
tudents' accomplishments include 3rd and 4th at U.S. National Championship Shows, Grand Champion, Reserve Champion, and many top 10's at the Canadian National Championship Shows, Reserve Champion at the Scottsdale Championship Show in Arizona, and many more top tens and top twenty Championships.

Spring Creek Equestrian Center offers a wide array of services in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. An outdoor arena, heated indoor arena, and wooded riding trails give riders a choice of venues. Alison and her staff encourage beginners and challenge advanced equestrians to improve their horsemanship skills in a nurturing environment.
